Bracketbuster Question

Our website lists the Bracketbuster game as a home game.

However, the ESPNU Bracketbuster page lists us as a road team for the Feb. 19-20 weekend.

So..................which one is it? Is ESPN wrong or is our Butler Basketball webpage wrong?

Butler Conference Record Predictions

I know that many of us have already made our predictions for how well Butler will do during conference play this season; however, with Butler's out of conference play, does it change how you feel the Bulldogs will perform in conference play?

All other Schools OOC record vs. Division I: 38-38 (47-48 Overall including Horizon League games)

Very nice last week or so for the Horizon. I'll take a Division I OOC .500 record minus Butler!

The people bashing Stevens and this team were also the ones who were blinded by the #10 ranking. Anyone who watched this team last year knew those expectations were at least a year too early. 8 for 8 in the last two games. And if memory serves, many of these were what I would call "higher pressue" attempts - meaning the game was close, we were down, and game time was winding down.

Not gonna gloat. I knew Butler would make a comeback after being down 16. We caught some breaks and played tremendous defense.

Couple of points:

1. I said Butler would be lucky to score in the 50's. We held the Bulldogs to our season average of points allowed (57).
2. Some of you said that Butler would get some wide open looks at some 3's and you did.
3. I said UAB played great defense, get in the passing lanes, are guards rebound really well, and...

The team looked tired. (They bussed to Louisville before flying to Birmingham). The schedule has been mentally tough on everyone, players, coaches and fans. The Xmas Holiday is upon us, I think Brad will probably let them go home until Monday (just my guess). I think we ALL need a break. Fouls out of every significant game, averages 20 mpg when it matters, plays horrendous defense on the ball slapping at the offensive player, is out of position on 50% of defensive possessions, can't make a lay-up, fumbles with the ball on almost every touch, and the list goes on. What is wrong with Matt? Is he sick? Is he suffering from some sort of undetected condition? Post-concussion syndrome or an undetected case of diabetes or something?
