Winner of each conference plus five at-larges. I wonder what kind of effect this would have on basketball. Would it lessen the divide between BCS and non-BCS.

I am sure they did. I don't even know the type of humans that are Phi Delts anymore.

IF a dome has a retracable roof, I guess it could be used, but it has to be open.

3. Phi Delt-and yes, did kick the Sigma Chi's asses every year at Chariot, and it was great. But now lots has changed...I think they are back on campus, but, not sure what the house is like now.

As far as the BCS, it is I guess the best alternative to a championship, but it has slighted football so much that teams in C-usa, MWC,...

What's crappy about it? I understand wheat beer is not for everyone, but it is for me...Truthfully the best beer I've ever had in my life, I think, is Belhaven Scottish Ale but unfortunately it's not widely available.

3. I don't really like the greek system, but I guess I will go with sigma chi (cause that's what I was). I did really enjoy the chariot race even though phi delt's kicked our ass every year I was there.

1. It really all depends on the weather, where I am at... I.E. there are a lot of intangibles here. But I'm currently going to say Miller High Life (out of a bottle, because it's ghetto.) But if I'm not drinking that...it's a pint of Guinness. (jesus!, did I just invent THE new Black & Tan?)

It is technically open to everyone so it's not illegal. Is the deck stacked in favor of the BCS conferences? Absolutely. The fans and the small guys get screwed, but if they thought they could make more money with a tournament they would do it. We should all get over it, Butler's football team will never make the BCS title game.

But it seems that the self-proclaimed big dawgs have rigged it so that they can never really be odd man out, if for no other reason than the AQ conferences guarantee themselves big $$$ regardless of their bowl games or on-field successes. Also, I don't know this to be true but have heard that college basketball post-season is more lucrative than college football season. Perhaps a plus for the playoff system? For all of our complaining each year about the NCAA tourney selection...

Great topic. I don't think you will see a change until enough big time programs have been the "odd team out" for the national championship like LSU was a couple of years ago and Texas (?) was this year. The NCAA has always surprised me in that the largest revenue sport is not controlled by them. Until the big dawgs are willing to share some of the pie, I think we will be debating this 50 years from now.
