That's a good question. I would think that IU can finish better than the bottom 3 in the league. Watching the Big Ten last year didn't give me any
reason to think that there will be many teams at the top this season. Crean is a really good coach and he's going to have a decent (albeit young) lineup of
guards to run out there at teams and run-and-fun through some games. They have a good non-conference schedule (Maui, @Kentucky, @Wake Forest, among others)
that will test them. I think they can finish ahead of NW, PSU and maybe a team like Iowa or Illinois depending on how they rebuild.
They will be thin up front, but keep in mind that they are on the short list for Emmanuel Negedu, who just got his release from Arizona. He would be an
immediate impact player in that lineup and give Crean a very athletic group of players to work with.
