Has everyone ignored him? Am I one of the only people to see his posts?

Stax..sorry for the delay in getting back to you as I was out all day yesterday on a job interview. It appears that dawgs00 answered your question. I don't take the red line as I live out in the NW burbs. My route to the games includes taking the Metra NW to and from Irving Park and then getting on the Irving Park Express bus to Clark and walking down to the game. I can tell you that the bus is not much of an express after the game, even if you hang around and have a few beers at The Full Shilling Public House (3724 N. Clark)

You've pretty much already have your info, Stax. I would only add that people appear to be hanging around longer than ever after the game. Staying and
singing along with Steve Goodman's "Go Cubs Go" sort of started that trend. Plus, the place clears out a lot slower after a win and they've
been winning at a clip of about 7 out of 8 the last 25 games.
I'm not sure its really worth it, but I have done this once or twice--hop on a train (the el) going north, get off at the first station and then get on a southbound train before the masses fill it up. But if you wait around awhile, it doesn't take too long to get onto a train. I would say that 15 minutes to get back downtown after getting on might be a little optimistic. At least it seems longer than that to me. That ignore function is pretty cool. I just tried it. I must say that despite a crappy day at work, Gutshot's post made me laugh. I don't know about the psychology, but Duck's posts lately sure have taken on a particularily vindictive tone. |

Going to two Cubs games next week. You'll see me in the first row to the right of home plate. When lefties are up you'll see me. You'll also
recognize me from my picture on the left. If I knew how to change my name I'd change it to TheNaturalBulldog. ihatexavier is getting old and has a negative
connotation. Since Gutshot hasn't posted recently I'm feeling real positive. Cubs are 17 over 500. Dawgs recruits are looking good. Ms. Halle looks hot
in her new bikini. Ozzie's Spanglish is getting worse. Gotta go, Cubs start in 10 minutes. Do you like me with or without the sweater?

IHX, a few suggestions for new names; I love Xavier, 32+1, Goose on a Rock, Just Another Old Dude. The 'Natural' Bulldog has to be reserved for Jon
VanNess. How about," Used to look like Sundance"? Haven't seen you on here much lately. Hope all is well.
