Butler's taking a look at a couple forwards from Minnesota in the 2010 class; Kevin Noreen and Marshall Bjorkland. Noreen's AAU coach believes that Butler will offer soon. This could be a litmus test for the program, as it relates to Noreen, Gonzaga has also offered him. This should be interesting. Additional bonus to the Noreen victor is Noreen's little brother who averaged over 12 a game as a freshman. He already is 6'3".

There is an interesting name out there that, to this point, I don't think Butler has recruited. However, because of his miscalculation, I think BU could probably ramp-up and stand a pretty good chance at getting. At one time, Jordan Prosser was one of the hottest forward prospects in the Midwest for the 2009 class. Prosser, at one time, held offers from Iowa, Indiana, and Wisconsin. Problem for Prosser is that he just waited too long to make the call, and all three of those offers disappeared. At present, Prosser's best offer is to Bradley, which isn't all that far from his home in Eureka, Illinois. You might remember, but I kind of foresaw this scenario playing out this way a couple months ago, Prosser was just dragging his feet too much. This presents a great opportunity for Butler to kind of "swoop in" and, at least, score an official visit. I tend to like Butler's chances, if they went this route. Keep in mind, I have never read one article or talked to one person that has lead me to believe Butler is recruiting Prosser, I just think this low-hanging fruit is too nice not to make a little run for.

Also, there is some talk that Butler has offered 2010, 6'6" 2-guard, Zach McCabe, who plays for All-Iowa Attack - Black (May plays for AIA - Red) and is from Dakota Dunes, South Dakota. Yes, Iowa also shares an interest, Butler and Iowa may as well share a database it would seem.
