Jenkins still having fun this summer. See article below...

The number of college coaches at the Hoops Fest was very impressive. As soon as I walked in to Hoops, I went to court 10 to check out the Indiana Elite. I looked to my left and standing five feet away from me was Minnesota and former Kentucky coach Tubby Smith. As I walked down a little ways I saw Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan and Texas Tech coach Pat Knight. Louisville's Richard Pitino was also in attendance.

| Jenkins scored 27 points in the Kentucky Gators first round game. |
DoPont Manual's Jacob Jenkins continues to impress this summer. He finished his first game scoring 27 points, including 19 in the first half. He led the Kentucky Gators to an easy win.
I spoke with Jenkins father and he told me Jacob played well at the Adidas Ittakes5 Classic in Cincinnati, including a 24 point performance against Seattle Rotary which features University of Louisville commit Peyton Siva and five star, 2010 center Josh Smith.
The way Jenkins has been playing this summer, I wouldn't be surprised if he led the state in scoring next season.
