Anyways I get down there to see tons of people, Bob Marley playing and every news camera there with their vans and stuff. After about 15 past 12 which was when he was supposed to come I guess people found he left and that the rumor was just that. He did not come to Butler, but everyone else did

I was just wondering if Obama was playing/had played at Hinkle. I have no qualms about posting non-BU basketball stuff (see Police Blotter, which I will be adding to shortly), but this was about Hinkle. I just thought it was pretty cool and, if true, was wondering how far in advance it was requested, was there a sweep of the place by Secret Service, was the public allowed to watch, etc. I didn't post it in hopes of a political discussion breaking out. Thanks for the info, adidasmanBU. I like how everyone was there, but Obama! Pretty funny.

Nearly all my posts have been non-Butler basketball related and for that I apologize to all of you. What he didn't mention was that all of those posts were in opposition to someone trying to turn this board into a platform for their own political views or agendas. I enjoy this board because most of you are far more insightful about Butler basketball than I cold ever be. I get upset when someone tries to kidnap the board for their own purposes. This is my last non-Butler basketball post and now 62dog, Todd and Sweeper can relax.
