BTW....For those of you who play ESPN's Streak for the cash, you can pick who will score more points tomorrow night; Gordon Hayward or Josh Mayo. Based
upon my prediction and Butler shutting down Mayo last game, I would pick Hayward.

UIC 64 i think it's going to be 1 of those nights. a flurry of 3 balls and we run away early. mack + hayward = 42 total |

One game against Wright State doesn't mean that our team hasn't been struggling. That UIC zone always causes problems as we seem to not know how to
move the ball into the zone towards the top of the key and then dishing it when everyone collapses. Mayo is likely more healthy than the last time we faced
UIC ...
I say Butler by 4. |

The UIC zone year after year causes problems for some reason. How many better teams does Butler face in the year, but that damn zone causes so many problems.
Figure out the zone early, get the lead, keep it, but won't be a blowout. 69-58 Butler wins it. Hayward and Mack 17 a piece.

I really think getting off to a solid start the first 10 minutes or so of the game with be crucial tonight. If our guys can do that I predict a fairly
easy win. A poor/slow start I think will lead to a painful game to watch similar to the Detroit & Valpo home games. I think the latter is more likely to
happen and it will be a struggle but the Dawgs manage to win.

UIC plays zone. We shoot great since we're at home and lock down on D as the Dawg Pound goes crazy. The only obstacle I see is that Jimmy Collins won't
be on the bench so UIC might actually have some decent game strategy tonight.

Collins will not be at the game. His mother passed away and is attending the services there, out of town. Coach Coomes will be the lead tonight for UIC.

If Butler gets the open looks against that porous zone like they did at the Pavilion, then Butler by 20.

UIC 54 Unlike last game vs. UIC: -We won't need Gordon to play 39 minutes -We won't need Mack to play 37 minutes -We won't need Gordon and Mack to combine for 73% of our points Like the Wright State game, Hahn and Nored will get a lot of "confidence boost" minutes. |
