Every year when we play anywhere outside of Hinkle, i get asked at least a few times, "Where is Butler?" So i thought we should make a t-shirt that says: Front: "Where is Butler? Back: an outline of the state of Indiana and says, According to Google, -10 hours and 45 minutes from Homewood -5 hours from Freeport -3 hours from Lexington -1 hour and 30 minutes from Connersville -30 minutes from Brownsburg

Most people know where Butler is, at least educated people. I could care less if some high school dropout w/ an IU, PU, or OSU shirt would ask me that question. I think it would be embarrassing to wear that shirt, IMHO. A good answer would be in the TOP 25. Where is your school?

I should have said Butler, Indiana. I should have asked that Purdue fan if Mackey was located in Purdue, Indiana (work their in state rival into the conversation).

"Butler is, well... Butler! After the program's multiple retoolings and consistent high level of play, it's now a basketball synonym for "awesome." Truth is real. And, at the same time, unreal. Fiction and fact and everything in between, plus some things I can't remember, all rolled into one big "thing." This is truth, to me.

My favorite NCAA local newspaper story as of late- a story about Pete Campbell in Birmingham. When A.J. Graves was asked if it was the rims that were helping out Pete Campbell, he said something to the effect of the following: "Honestly, I don't think Pete's shots hit the rims"
