I don't think there should be a whole lot of weight put on what we currently have stacked up for 2010. We have Fromm locked up, and we were obviously heavily interested in Ben Brust. I think the Brust situation has a lot more to do with playing time than Brad potentially leaving. (In the grand scheme of things, Lick being pushed out is just as likely as Brad leaving at this point.) However, Brust can go into Iowa and immediately compete for playing time if not a starting role.

@ Butler? Sorry. Shelvin Mack, Ron Nored will both be Juniors, Zach Hahn & Shawn VanZant both seniors. Throw in Hayward getting guard minutes, as well as a wildcard in Chase Stigall, minutes would be hard to come by until his Junior campaign.

There is still a possibility of a couple 2010's coming in, but in all reality they're not needed. We can hold on to these scholarships until 2011. I think there are a few exceptions, but we'll see what happens. Keep in mind Nored and Mack were late signs, so some good ones hold out.

If you are following recruiting we are definately attacking the 2011 class much harder. It's rare for these kids to commit this early, however we are definately garnering interest in a lot of high level recruits. We have at least 3 offers on the table for 2011, and I would expect a few more coming soon.

Brad isn't slacking, he's merely putting his bets on 2011 (the much more talented class imo).
