4 straight losses? I guess you are counting the first two in Italy. I agree I think if there was a time to really get creative and mix things up it is now. I wish we would go big, but doubtful that will happen. I wish we would go up tempo and try to wear teams out with our depth, but doubt that as well. Here is what I do know though, is that dammit to hell there are people pimping Gordon left and right and Shelvin some soon, and yet wherever you read, there is no mention of Matt. So, you have to think we have one hell of a three headed monster to build around. I think our game plan, starting with that last game of the regular season against csu was very stale and conservative. There is too much talent on this team to just build with the status quo. I hope that Brad and company get creative with matchups and don't ever take the foot off the gas this year. You have arguably three of the top players in the country and their positions, and obviously three of the best in the Horizon League. So, use it and get nuts with it. The talent this year will rival or blow away any that we have seen at Butler, so I hope it will be one hell of a ride.

Shaking things up is a must, and I do agree we became very predictable the last month, and frankly, the two best games we played were Davidson and unfortunately LSU (because it resulted in a loss). But those games there were some fun matchups and more up tempo style. Games like the last two against Cleveland and the game against Loyola at home (puked I think ten times) were just bad game plans. If all the major contributors took a step up from last year to this year...the sky is the limit with this group. Probably will be even more talent next year...but this team this year has a chance to be simply awesome, and needs to have a rip your heart out, throw it on the ground, step on it then spit on it attitude.
