I'll take mental lapses if it results in a great season every year!

I had the tape of the Butler/Milwuakee game and I watched Avery's jumper at least once every day for a full year. Usually it was the last thing I saw
before I would leave the office. It is so fun to watch different parts of the arena and the people's reaction

Speaking of defining shots, there's no sweet 16 if Sheets doesn't nail that buzzer beater.

Swatted layup didn't result in a negative play, he was pushing the ball. 2. The foul your referencing was extremely ticky-tack.

To me, truth is not some vague, foggy notion. Truth is real. And, at the same time, unreal. Fiction and fact and everything in between, plus some things I can't remember, all rolled into one big "thing." This is truth, to me. |

After watching the Louisville clip above, I clicked on this one. Incredible. Turn up your speakers for full effect.
"Butler is, well... Butler! After the program's multiple retoolings and consistent high level of play, it's now a

Thank you Dane Fife...
David Woods, a voice of reason:
National publicity is good for Butler's program, of course, but remember this: The Website reporters who cover college basketball are compelled to write about something in the off-season, and Butler is the flavor of the month. Such publicity is also a reminder of how outrageous preseason expectations have become for what is essentially a sophomore/junior team. I'm actually more concerned about Butler's fans than the team. |

Gimme yo WATCH wrote:How can you sum up a season in 3 minutes of bad play. That's called trying too hard. It happens to everyone. Give him a break. Besides, that was last year. |

V Scherrer wrote: Haha. Look up the word microcosm. All I was saying is it was a HUGE shot, but in the minutes preceding it I saw a lot of what Van Zant did wrong all season. I never said he wasn't trying, or that everyone doesn't mess up, or that it wasn't last year. He is a great defender and an okay ballhandler. He is a solid player, but unfortunately, I felt that his shortcomings were evidenced clearly in those few minutes of play. |
