Did I just read they suspended two additional kids? Will they have enough to field a team by the time we play them?

I have no inside info, but from just reading the ESPN article and making some assumptions I would say White and Bostick will be back in time to play against
us. Mbakwe on the other hand looks less likely. From reading the Blue Ribbon report it seems Mbakwe and Bostick were most likely role players, and White is a
legitimate Freshman.
Minnesota is a very deep team. They will still field a very strong team. They return a ton of guys, and these suspensions will not impact any of the returning starters. |

Royce White suspended for
shoplifting and fifth degree assault.
I can't see any way that White is going to be back playing for quite a while, and he could be Minnesota's best player. White and Mbakwe are the Gophers top power forwards. They are going to have issues with Howard. ESPN: No 3 programs burst onto the scene in the last 20 years the way UConn, Gonzaga and Butler have in college basketball.

Whether it is Sampson or Iverson, they are going to need help, neither can guard Howard by themselves. This is a huge blow to the Gophers, not just for this
game, but for the entire season.
