Are the combo tickets for the XU / Loyola available yet?

From email from Matt Harris:
Single game tickets for this Saturday's game vs. Taylor and the regular season opener vs. Davidson are on sale now. On November 16th individual tickets for all remaining games EXCEPT Ohio State and Xavier will go on sale. Ohio State and Xavier will be available as part of a 2-game package on that day (Ohio State-Green Bay and Xavier-Loyola). Individual tickets for Ohio State will be available beginning Monday December 7th and individual tickets for Xavier will be available beginning Monday December 14th. When individual tickets go on sale they can be purchased at Hinkle Fieldhouse or Clowes Hall weekdays from 10-4 or online at www.ticketmaster.com. So no, they go on sale the 16th. |

Awesome, thank you.

I love this idea...
Hopefully this will deter a lot of Xavier and OSU fans from purchasing tickets early.
YEAH!!!

Being a premium game, those ticket prices are going to be salty for some people by themselves... I can see the two game requirement keeping people away!
I hope this doesn't prevent people from packing the house. We get a sellout when EVERYONE comes to Hinkle... it might be difficult when we price ourselves out of the market for certain groups.
David Woods, a voice of reason:
National publicity is good for Butler's program, of course, but remember this: The Website reporters who cover college basketball are compelled to write about something in the off-season, and Butler is the flavor of the month. Such publicity is also a reminder of how outrageous preseason expectations have become for what is essentially a sophomore/junior team. I'm actually more concerned about Butler's fans than the team. |

I like the idea for advance ticket sales; however, on the day of the game will they only sell the single game tickets if they are available?

The single game tickets go on sale the week of the game. For instance, Butler/OSU is scheduled for Dec. 12th, thus, single game tickets are sold the week of
and can be bought on Monday, Dec. 7th.
Xavier tickets will be sold in the same manner, so that game is on Dec. 19th, so single game tickets will be available Monday, Dec. 14th. |

So everyone that lives in Indy gets good seats, and I have to wait 3 weeks and sit by myself. Awesome idea.

It would be a nightmare to control, but I wish that if you could show that you are an Alumni, or seaon ticket holder that you could buy single tickets
whenever.

Agreed, although I don't think it would be that difficult to keep track of season ticket holders. I thought they could buy tickets at a discount in
previous years. I could be wrong.

It's not a big deal if you live in Indy, but if you have to travel, it pretty much means you just aren't going to go. I just made my decision, I am watching both Ohio State and Xavier on TV. |

Just because the ticket has a dollar value on it doesn't mean that's the value of the game. Those two games should be triple what they are charging; if
not more. They will each easily sell out. Great idea to bring in some money.

right, paying double face is what a lot of people will be doing on stubhub/craigslist/etc...
Why not collect some of that extra revenue and try to boost attendance numbers for other games at the same time? We're on the cusp of becoming a basketball powerhouse, but w/o revenue, it's just not going to happen. I hope you change your mind and support the program.
YEAH!!!

Why don't you just buy a single game ticket the week of the game? It won't be sold out before the day of the game.

On the positive side, I am glad to see our program is all about cash now. About F'n time. I personally hated seeing all of those kids running around
knocking over things and running into you.
