2008-2009 Schedule |
Lead | |
|
Does anyone know where we can find next years schedule or what teams at least we are playing. I have heard rumors of SIU wanting a home and home. I have Also
heard a home and home with Xavier. And we all know about the Stanford addition in 2010. Just wanted to see what people knew for sure about our schedule next
year or beyond. Thanks

I think this is right... | ||

Well we have 18 conference games, BSU, Evansville, Drake, UAB, Xavier, Florida Gulf Coast, Ohio State, Indiana State, and the Bracket Buster. I'd imagine
you'll also see another low major game at Hinkle, maybe an IPFW, that would give us 28 games before the conference tournament.

Next year is a long way away... |

I know Duck I was just wondering. I am still focused on those games but it is an off day so I figured it was a good time to see what was up for next year.

Anyone else starting to think that Shelvin Mack, the Bryan Station boys' basketball star, could
become Billy Gillispie's Chris Lofton?

From what I have heard, the schedule is pretty much locked in stone for next year, but we are trying to add 1-2 more home games for the team. It's been
talked about before on this thread about giving this young team as many comfortable games as possible.
I didn't go searching for it on the site, but I think we open the season at Drake, iirc. |

The cupcakes don't want to play at Butler because Butler won't pay them the fee they are used to by being the "BCS" punching bag.
That's why it's so hard to schedule games like these for a young team.
Emerson Kampen, Shelvin Mack & Ronald Nored join Garrett
Butcher, Gordon Hayward, & Chase Stigall as next year's student-athletes on the Butler Bulldogs Men's Basketball team! Congratulations and welcome to Butler!

Title - I thought I read that Butler was not playing Indiana State in 2008-09.

That's correct, but we didn't know that the first week of March.
