Line opened at Ohio State -11.0.
IHX, you were pretty close, but expect it to get a lot lower as people lay money on the Dawgs, it'll close around OSU -7.

I was thinking the line would settle at -8 at game time. Since the home team gets -3.5 or -4, I would say the -8 line would be fair. OSU should be favored, but
-11 is excessive.

FUK, your Mom may as well set that early line (if you are looking at Sportsnetwork). It is usually 2 to 5 points off of the actual opening line, which was 8.5.
Grab those points, pound a few and get ready to get in Diebler's $%*#$* tomorrow.

Remember how stupid AJ made Diebler look last year.
The fact that John Diebler is the all time leading scorer in Ohio High School basketball history is proof that the state is completely backwards.
YEAH!!!

Good catch Todd! I missed that one.
Actually, neither of us have answered the question, "When was the last time that Butler got beat by 11?" That answer is February of 2005 which was a 64-53 loss at UW-M. The point of all of this, which I agree with and find fascinating, especially in light of recent blowout losses by IU (too many to track), PU and Michigan State, is that Butler just doesn't get blown out (knock knock). They are always in the game and the games that they do lose by 8-14 are usually closer than that, they just had to foul at the end and the opponent took advantage of the free throws. |
