Sliding toward the Bubble |
Lead | |

Not there yet.....but getting closer. Saturday will be rough & on national TV. If it goes bad....that hurts more in national perception. BU can still right
the ship by taking care of business in BOTH home games next week. The 111 game streak is over. HTUM

We're on the bubble. We lose at Davidson, our only choice is to win the tourney.

I disagree. if Butler loses at Davidson (provided it is not a blowout) & wins 2 next week......they will be 24-5. Conference champs with an RPI in the mid
to high 20's. I guess it is conceivable that they could be left out.....but 95% chance they would be in. Is Curry playing? Now that I think of it, you may
hove something if they don't win the semi final.......we'll see!!!!!!!! HTUM

How are we on the bubble with a 22-4 record? We really only have 1 bad loss. And our sure our RPI is still in the 20's even with this loss. I just
don't see us as being on the bubble yet. Lose at Davidson and another home conference game... then yes.

We're firmly on the bubble now. Remember Utah State from 2003 or 2004? They had a similar record and a similar rank. They lost a couple of late season
games are were in this position. Or, how about the infamous Butler 'snub'? As a BU person, you should know we are on the bubble at this point.
Losing on Saturday puts us on the outside looking in... |

We are very much on the bubble now, especially if we do not win the next 3 games, I more loss and in regular season and we must win the tournament, please

One factor you hear way too much about at the end of the year is Last 10. Sure we might be 24-5 or whatever when all is said and done, but if we lose again
before the tournament, and then lose in the tournament, we'll be 6-4 in our last 10. That looks horrid.
YEAH!!!

This might work out well for the Dawgs. I'd rather have a 12 seed rather than a 7,8,9, or 10 seed. Lose a couple more games, win the tourney and get a 12
seed.
That would work out well. |

The committee takes a serious look at your last 12 games.
We lost on our home floor to a terrible team. Just dropped another with poor play. Playing terrible down the stretch. |

were not in danger unless we lose anymore horizon league games, except for the championship. remember this is an extremely weak year for at large teams.

Yeah everyone seems to be forgetting that plus what other mid-mjaors are gonna get at-large spots? We have the best if not one of the best resumes out of these
teams.

Because the committee takes into account the how you finished/what have you done for me lately attitude.
And they also look at top 50 wins and bad losses. |
