I watched Fishers play in the Carmel sectional about 1965-66. They closed shortly thereafter (not because of my attendance at the sectional) and the "Consolidated" Hamilton Southeastern school district opened.

They are now in their second year of being a separate HS. They split the district up last year with the exception of the seniors to be which were allowed to stay and graduate at HSE.

I think they've already won a state championship (either boys or girls cross country) and the football team went 6-3 in just their second year.

Look for a 3rd HS in the district in the next 7-10 years. They don't have the desire to become a mass of juveniles like Carmel (4100 and still no plans to build a second HS).
