Can't be any worse than San Diego hanging 56? on us in the first half of a homecoming game a couple years back.

WAJC. Youngstown is 2010. They pay us big bucks to go to their place. I believe Dartmouth is also 2010 or 2011. Princeton a little further out. Still I like
the name association. A little easier to recruit.

I wonder if this shopping for different opponents has anything to do with possible realignment of conference/league affiliation?

Aligning with YSU in football would also be a stretch due to their power as a Sub-division school for football. We're going to get pummeled by them this Fall...likely by 50+ |

I keep looking at this fall's schedule and can't find Youngstown! How do we get pummeled by 50+ by a team that isn't even on the schedule?

I didn't mean we would join these schools in a league - just that we are raising our competition level to meet requirements to join another league.

Wow! My comments got distorted. Here's the point: Our athletic department is working their a$$es off to the improve the basketball and FOOTBALL schedule.
The addition to the Jimmy V game, the Anaheim games and the Maui Classic is a huge improvement in our schedule. On the FOOTBALL side the athletic department is
also making strides. Princeton and Dartmouth are very prestigeous schools with deep traditions. They are in the premier IAA non scholarship conference.
Youngstown is a recent winner of the IAA national championship... like Appalachian State. When we recruit basketball or football it is a hell of a lot easier
to impress a recruit when we say we are playing OSU, UCLA, Xavier, etc and YSU and Ivy League opponents versus Mercer, Mount Saint Marys, IUPUFWIUSBXY and
Albion, Cheyney State and the Little Sisters of the Poor. Go Dawgs beat UNC.
