The first quick links thread of the year is here! Mrs. DaytonDawgs and I are getting set for the first trek to Hinkle of the season!

Their final game of the 2008-09 season had an attendance of 85 people. Crazy.
Lots of Indianapolis kids on their roster. What a great opportunity for them to come to Hinkle and play the #11/10 ranked team in all of college basketball. |

I'm not a Butler alum, I went to Rose-Hulman for an engineering degree. Us and Depauw were minor rivals (they tended to beat us more than we beat them). My
freshman year we printed up some shirts that said on the front "DEPAUW SUCKS." Thinking about wearing it tonight, if the wife will allow it...

Booyah - season starts in about an hour. Looking forward to hopefully getting a good look at some different lineup combinations in there against live (albeit
D3) competition. Wish I could actually watch the game, but I will take a night of Nick and Joe. Thankfully the wife is working tonight, 1480 will be blasting
in the living room!

Interestingly I am listening to 1430AM and Chick-fil-A is adverstising on the radio. Guess Sunday radio ad's are OK not retail sales.

It's Vanzant, I missed the pre game did they say why Nored not starting ? Is his leg not ready ?

Sounds like a strong start. Van Zant at least listening seems to be playing well. Why is Nored not playing? Not ready physically yet?

It's possible that the injury game VanZant an opportunity to win the starting 1 Guard spot; or their easing Nored back into game shape.

Brad said he doesn't want him doing too much as he's only been practicing for a couple weeks and won't be in as good of game shape as the other
guys and this isn't the time to rush him back.
