He sent e-mails this season to 13 Division II college coaches in Philadelphia, asking them to keep an eye on some high school players from his neighborhood. He heard back from nine coaches who promised to keep his buddies on the radar.

From the article: First time I can recall seeing an actual diagnosis. Seems hard to believe USA Today would be the first to report it. Is this old news?

It is old news, but it is not talked about much. AJ is not one to throw out excuses. His feet have been bad for a long time. He has had plantar problems,
stress fracture problems a couple of seasons ago, and the toe issue.

Yet another great article, I think we all need to take a step back from all the complaining and whining about ticket prices and attendance and enjoy what this
special group of guys are letting us be a part of. We are #9 in the country.....#9.....who would have thought during the 2004-2005 season just a few years
later we would be a Top 10 team. To go along with this while sports, in general, seem to becoming more cloudy and more corrupt every day we have stories like
this being written on a regular basis about the character of our student athletes. It is a great time to be a Butler Bulldog, I am just glad I can be along for
the ride.

I don't think any of us really appreciate what we have right now. There aren't a great number of teams who can say they've ever had a top 10
ranking, let alone in two consecutive years - and let alone with a program that is the size of ours. These are definitely special times. If people are sitting
at home in protest for anything- sorry, but they are idiots!

1993-very well said--I believe everyone on this board is so proud of these they can almost burst--I know I can talk about little else at work and am boring the
s*** out everyone with my description of what great role models they are--especially when compared to the corrupt programs that abound elsewhere. Go Dogs
